Pro Rally - Nintendo Gamecube [used]
- The first rally racing title for the GameCube features 20 licensed vehicles from such manufacturers as Audi, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, and Subaru. A total of 48 tracks, located in England, Sweden, Italy, and other international venues, are available for competition in six modes of play: Arcade, Trophy, Championship, Professional School, Time Trial, and Multiplayer. Players will drive across mud, snow, gravel, ice, and tarmac in their attempt to earn a record-setting time. Though the featured cars lack visible damage modeling, players will be able to repair certain parts in between races as well as fine-tune their vehicle's suspension, tires, and gearbox.
Before entering competition against other drivers in the multi-race Championship, players can learn the controls by entering a series of training lessons in Professional School. Those wishing to jump right into the game and tear up the courses can select the Arcade mode, which is designed to offer more forgiving controls and handling. Time Trial has players competing against a ghost car for the fastest laps, while Trophy mode offers four circuits held on circular tracks instead of racing from point A to point B. Multiplayer supports two friends simultaneously using a split-screen view or up to eight alternating turns.
